BGCGN medals up in Merrimack
Wrestlers from the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Nashua (BGCGN) youth wrestling team competed this past weekend at the K-4 Merrimack Youth Association Tournament. Taking first place for their weight category were first-grader Ian Deluca 51 pounds, third-grader Zachary Rioux 79.5 and fourth-grader Owen Duda 87.5.
Runners up were first-graders Ryan Haskell 55.5 and Antonio Martinez 83, second graders Juan Torres 42.5, Turner White 51, third grader Luca Frioni 56, fourth grader Owen Finn 63.
Taking bronze were second-graders Jeffrey Runge 63 and Troy Moscatelli 66, third grader Mickey Mathason 53, fourth graders Colin Dexter 63, Destiny Torres 71 and Victor Ceballos 89.5.
In fourth place were kindergartner Brayden White 41, second graders Aurora Holland 53 and Kearra Bellerose 58, third graders Teddy Moscatelli 73 and Olivia Soucy 91.5, fourth graders Michael Coulombe 91.5 and Bryan Jimenz 101.
BGCGN grapples in Salem
Three youth wrestlers from the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Nashua (BGCGN) youth wrestling team competed at the Jon Spohn Wrestling Tournament at Salem High School this past Sunday.
Competing in the fourth grade division were Owen Duda 88 pounds and Nate Zalzal 110 each brought home the gold for their respective weight classes. Also competing third grader Zachary Rioux 80.5 took the bronze

BGCGN grapplers tough in Londonderry
Wrestlers from the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Nashua youth team as well as BGCGN’s Elm St. Middle School team kicked off the season at the PJ Sora Middle School Wrestling Tournament at Londonderry High School last weekend.
In the seventh-eighth grade division, Elm Street’s Brian Toupin (2-1) was the runner-up in the 133-pound weight class.
In the fifth-sixth grade division, Ryan Jigarjian (3-0) was the 68-pound champion, followed by Thomas Christian, the runner-up at 65 pounds, Isaiah Johnson the bronze medalist at 92 and Garrett Hillard, who wrestled tough at 150.
Fourth grader Nate Zalzal wrestled up in the fifth-sixth grade division and placed third at 113 pounds.
