Congratulations to the 2008 K-4 New Hampshire wrestling STATE CHAMPIONS!

STATE CHAMPS!!

Shoes and headgear:

We would appreciate it if families with old, unwanted pairs of wrestling shoes (not already slated for younger siblings) would bring them to practice to contribute to our “wrestling shoe bank.” Same goes for unwanted head gears.

If you take some good action shots from any tournaments/scrimmages, email them to coach Valeri and we can add them to the website. (georgevaleri@verizon.net)

SUMMER WRESTLING MAKES WINTER CHAMPIONS!

Throughout the spring into early summer, we'll be having off season training at the Boys Club on FRIDAY nights (6:00-8:00).

Sessions will be run by Coach Kurt Rowlette, Coach Kris Rowlette, and Coach Hanning. We can probably expect to see the middle school coaches as well, and high school coaches Arbogast, Audley and Rousseau are more than welcome.

Parents -- this is NOT part of the BGCGN team season. It is extra, and intended for the more dedicated kids who want to stay sharp and improve their skills in the off-season. No one should feel obligated (it's baseball and lacrosse season, after all), and you should NOT send kids who don't really want to go. It will be fun, of course, but these coaches will not be babysitting or putting up with discipline issues, or playing those "fun games" the younger kids play at BGCGN practice. The emphsis will be on technique with some conditioning.

FRIDAY NIGHTS: 6:30 -8:30
