2018 Fall League Registration

The 2018 Fall Baseball Camp will enable High School players to prepare for their upcoming season.  The Camp is open to all players that will have High School eligibility in the spring of 2019 (also 7th and 8th graders).  We will utilize baseball fields such as Holgate, Delta, Defiance College, Lincolnview, Napoleon, Tinora and others.

PLAY WILL BE ON SUNDAYS, ONLY, BEGINNING AT 1:00 P.M.  Doubleheaders will begin on Sunday afternoon September 2nd and will continue each Sunday through September 30th.   (NO rain dates).  The premier players in the camp will be invited back for an additional 2 weeks of All-Star competition in front of college coaches and scouts (at Adrian, Michigan and Miami University).  Each player will need to bring his baseball equipment necessary to play, including a batting helmet.  Each participant will receive a tee shirt on the first day of competition.

FEE – THE COST OF THIS 5 WEEK CAMP IS $200.00 if paid by August 20. Make checks payable to:

Randy Bachman, PO Box 651 Napoleon, Oh 43545 419-439-2077  e-mail – randy.j.bachman@gmail.com

PLAYERS WILL BE BROKEN INTO 2 AGE GROUPS: 8th GRADE & FRESHMEN WILL BE IN ONE AGE GROUP, WHILE SOPHOMORES, JUNIORS & SENIORS WILL MAKE UP THE OTHER AGE GROUP.  We will divide the teams in accordance with the rules of the Ohio High School Athletic Association.

Players MUST go to our website at www.riverbanditbaseball.com AFTER Wednesday, August 26  to find out where they are to report on the first Sunday.  It will be their responsibility to go on line to get the necessary information.

Please print the form located in the DOWNLOADS section or click on the link below and send it with a check ASAP!  (WE ALWAYS SELL OUT!)

Thank you.

All Star Selection Criteria

The players who are selected, will be notified on the last day of the camp.  They are to report at NOON each Sunday of All Star play.

We used the input of each individual coach, comments from College coaches and professional scouts, and our personal evaluations of the players during the camp.

Besides trying to project potential collegiate talent, attendance and ATTITUDE also play a roll in the selection process.

Rosters will be available for those attending both exposure weeks.  College coaches and scouts will be able to access those rosters thru our website.  The general public will NOT be able to access that personal information.

The final selection is made by me, Randy Bachman, camp director.

2018 Fall League Notes

  • Shirts are provided for each player in the league. Pants and hats are provided by the player. Your high school gear is fine. This is not a fashion show, we are here to play baseball.
  • Bring your own batting helmet whenever possible. A lot of schools now require each player to purchase their own. If this is not the case ask your high school coach if you can borrow one. Most of them will gladly let you do so.
  • CATCHERS-- Bring your own gear. If you don't have your own ask your coach. Again, most of them will let you borrow the school's equipment.
  •  You should plan accordingly every Sunday. Bring plenty of liquids to last throughout the day.
  • Please check the handouts or venue sections for addresses to fields.
