About the
Diamond
Chips ..... |

The Naperville Diamonds added a new age group of girls in 2004 "8 and under" or "8U" called the Diamond Chips. The Diamond Chips are for girls who will be either 7 or 8 years old on December 31st.

The program was initiated for families who wanted their daughters to play fast pitch Softball.
In addition to playing competitive games the girls will receive in depth instruction from the organization through out the late fall, winter and spring on Sundays. |

It should be noted that we have created a competitive structure different from other programs.

While your daughter will learn many facets of the game there is no guarantee that she will play every position.

The Chips play ....
|
- 12 regular season games
- plus one round robin weekend (3 games) against other communities.
- a Championship Double Elimination season ending Tournament.
- All-Star teams will be selected to compete in additional tournaments at the end of the season.

If the Chips program sounds attractive, please plan on attending our tryouts or contact the board. Your daughter must be either 7 or 8 by December 31. (If she is older, then she must play in our 10U Diamonds League.)

About the Diamonds....
The Naperville Diamonds Girls Softball Association was founded in 1994. The Diamonds premiered four Diamond Teams developing 50 girls. For the most recent seasons the Diamond Organization supports over 31 teams and approximately 500 fast pitch players.
Diamond Teams have finished in the Top 10 in National Tournaments over 16 times in the past several years. We have won the division in the Southwest Suburban League countless times.
Our playes enjoy continued success at the high school and college levels. Become a part of a winning program and keep the tradition of excellence alive.
