NDSA Coaches and volunteer background checks
Naperville Diamonds Softball Association has subscribed to ChoicePoint to perform background checks on all coaches, assistant coaches, and any other adult (such as a trainer) in regular contact with multiple players. The Diamonds policy is to immediately dismiss any adult registering a "hit" on ChoicePoint or otherwise found to have sex offender background or pending charges. All board members will undergo checks to set the example.
