Congratulaations to the Titans boys on another oustanding finals victory. The only team to have regained the title having lost it and also the only team to have defended it. A fine effort. And yet no street press or cred on this website... interesting. Also well done to the Wildcats on turning around their season and making the finals yet again. Great to see New Zealand lacrosse coming to the fore. Now to the big news...

FOR ANY INTERESTED POTENTIAL NEW ZEALAND LACROSSE REPRESENTITVE PLAYERS... there are two sports scholarships available for you to come and play this season here in Perth, Australia. They include free accomodation and food, and require 3 - 4 days work at one of Perth's most prestigious colleges. The job will also be paid. The season starts this week April 2nd and will play through to September. This is a great opportunity before the next world series to take a step in your game and make a real difference in Canada. Players will be invited to play for Bayswater or Wannaroo lacrosse clubs. Interested players please feel free to contact Nick Ravenhall via e mail nick.ravenhall@diageo.com or via cell on +61421992004

Kiora,
I've been playing lacrosse my whole life and am thrilled to see the game in New Zealand. I dated a Kiwi for 6 years and had the good fortune to visit about 5 years ago. Beautiful country and wonderful people. I'm looking forward to someday returning. Cheers!
Daniel

Hi! I'm mai, from Japan.
I'm going to Auckland and study English there from Aug,2004 to Apr,2005.
I'm playing lacrosse at university in Fukuoka, Japan. Our team is very new and always lose... but I really like playing lax. so I don't want to stop playing lax after my leaving for NZ.
I'm not good at speaking English and playing lax but I want to continue practicing lax in NZ.
Is there any team I can join???
Please give me any info!!! I'm waiting!!!
thank you for reading my message!!!

Hi all ! I am coming to Auckland in 2 weeks. I am the Captain or our Canadian University Championship team. I am attending Auckland University. I will play for any team close to me and that wants me. This may sound weird but if anyone could help me out with a place to stay or info on a place to stay till I find my own place would be much appreciated ! By the way I am a 24 old lacrosse player.

Heard the game is catching on in NZ - great! I'm trying to get in contact with an old teammate from the UK who I've heard is living and playing in New Zealand. His name is Mark Freemon. Tim and Mary Coger from USA (via UK - Utah -Italy-Hawaii) say hello to Mark and Helen. Let's hear some news!
