The Northwest Raiders, a Division II team, are from San Antonio, Texas. Founded in 1984, the Raiders are a Non-Profit Organization, and are a part of the San Antonio Pop Warner Football Conference.
Our goal is to promote a healthy and safe environment that teaches good sportsmanship, while requiring each participant meet national education standards. As a part of Pop Warner, the children are eligible for awards and scholarships based on their academic perfomance. The Executive Board is proud to announce that the 2006 Mitey Mite, Jr. Pee Wee, Pee Wee Football Players and the Mitey Mite Cheerleaders have achieved a 93.93 Grade Point Average overall!!!!! Way to go RAIDERS!!
Past titles are a part of the appeal to become a Northwest Raider. Just a few of those titles are:
2004 National Cheerleading Champions, Jr. Midget Division
2003 Cheerleading Champions, Jr. Midget Division
2002 Football, Pee Wee Division II and Cheerleading, Pee Wee Division and Midget Divisions.
The home field and practice field is at H.B. Zachry Middle School located at 9410 Timber Path in San Antonio.
The Executive Board would like to wish all of the participants a fun, safe and winning season.
