Northwest 45 Little League: Parents FYI

Thursday, August 7

Welcome to NorthWest 45 Little League!

In order to make you feel at home, we wanted to provide directions to Bayer Park, a map of the park to direct you to the appropriate field and a list of park rules.

Bayer Park is located at 24811 Hardy Road – located on Hardy Road just south of Cypresswood Road.

Going I-45 South, take the Louetta/Cypresswood exit.  Take the access road until the first stop light – Cypresswood.  Take a left and go approx. 2 miles until you see a sign pointing to the right to exit onto Hardy Road.  If you go over the bridge, you have gone too far. Take a right on Hardy Road, go 1/2 of a mile and take a right.

LITTLE LEAGUE PARENTS LEAD BY EXAMPLE

One of the key objectives of Little League is to demonstrate Good Sportsmanship to our players and to show them how to react to adversity in a positive way.

Our players look to their parents as role models for how to behave.

There will be controversial plays and calls during our tournaments, and our players will look to their parents for proper behavior.

Our players need positive support and not negative reinforcement.

So, cheer for your favorite team . . . and compliment the opponents and umpires on a good game.
