NVSC Jr Royals 95: Welcome

Team Tryouts are upcoming:
The Jr. Royals 95 will be holding tryouts for the upcoming season on June 4, 5, and 6 at 7 - 8:30 pm at Valley View Park fields.

We are currently a D2 team but it is highly likely that we will be categorized as a NCSL D1 team for the Fall 2012 season.

We will be applying to play in several showcase tournaments this year including CASL, Lynchburg, and either Triangle Friendlies or Twin Cities.

We are looking to pickup players in all positions (goal, def, mid, forward).

The Jr Royals 95 have had some great past seasons and are continuing to build!  (current National, Region, and State rankings.)

We're a team on the move!!  

Since most of our players were involved in High School soccer for the Spring 2012 season we decided to sit out the NCSL season.  We wanted to provide our players with opportunities to be seen by college coaches so we concentrated on attending showcase tournaments.

We finished strong in NCSL Division 2 for the Fall 2011 season and expect to move up to Division 1 for the Fall 2012 season.

Many of our players will be involved in the USL Summer 2012 Super Y-League. Last summer we placed 2nd in the standings and earned a trip to the Fall 2011 year Super Y League North American Finals in Tampa, Florida.  Click here for more Super-Y info.

We've shown very well in our recent tournament play:

- Champion in the 2011 Battlefield Classic Tournament (where we played up in the U17-U19 Division) 
- Finalist in the 2011 OBGC Capital Cup
- Finalist in the 2012 President's Day Cup and Showcase
- Finalist in the 2012 Virginian Tournament (where we played up in the U17-U19 Division)

We're a Northern Virginia Soccer Club (NVSC) travel team with a lot of talent, heart, and competitive desire.  Our goal is to build, move forward, and advance in our league.  We are preparing our young men for future competitive play.

Our mission is to create an environment that emphasizes long-term player development, while stressing the importance of sportsmanship, commitment and dedication and, of course, the love of the game. We offer a well balanced program of professional training, organization, and fun.
