MANDATORY T.O.C. MEETING

There will be a mandatory meeting regarding the T.O.C. (Tournament of Champions) on Saturday June 7th at the Willows Community Center (2775 Desert Marigold Ln Las Vegas, NV 89135). The meeting will start at 9:00am. Each League must have a representitve attend and bring a copy of the team roster and scorebook (Manager of the team are encouraged to be present). ALL STAR CERTIFICATION

It's coming up on that time of year again to certify teams for the 2008 All Star tournaments. Certification will take place on Saturday June 21st at the North Las Vegas courthouse (2332 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Suite 100 North Las Vegas, NV 89030). The 9/10, 10/11, and Little League (Majors) teams will begin certification at 10:00am. Junior and Senior certification will begin at 12:00pm. Teams draws will take place after certification along with a rules meeting.

In order for your team to be certified you must have the following information.

* Background Checks on all Managers/Coaches

* Signed Map with League Boundaries

* Original Birth Certificate (It will be returned once certification is comple) NOTE: Passports, Hospital Certificates, Baptismal Certificates, photocopies  or faxed copies of state-issued birth certificates WILL NOT be accepted.  Per the State of California and Little League Baseball, no California ABSTRACT of Birth is considered a legal document.  (Contact the State of California or the County where your child was born to obtain a legal document.) .

* Three proofs of address. All players must present three proofs of residence from the following categories to determine residency:

1.  Driver's License
2. Voter's Registration
3. School records 
4. Welfare/Child care records 
5. Federal records
6. State records 
7. Local (municipal) records 
8. Support payment records 
9. Homeowner or tenant records 
10. Utility bills (i.e., gas, electric, water/sewer, phone, mobile phone, heating, wate disposal)
11. Financial (loan, credit, investments, etc.) records
12. Insurance documents 
13. Medical records
14. Military records 
15. Internet, cable or satellite records 
16. Vehicle records

Note: Example - Three utility bills (three items from the Number 10 above) constiture onle ONE document.
