NORTH VANCOUVER CENTRAL BASEBALL ASSOCIATION

NORTH VAN CENTRAL offers baseball programs for boys and girls aged 5 through 18 in beautiful North Vancouver, BC Canada. We are an active member of District Five Little League British Columbia, have been a chartered league since 1951 and boast a roster of approximately 300 players.

Players reside in North Vancouver, South of Highway 1, east of Capilano River and west of Lynn Creek. See Boundary Map

Registrations are accepted throughout the season (April-June). Registrations must be received by February 15th to guarantee placement on a Minors, Majors, Juniors, Seniors or Bigs team.

March 3, 2013 - Kinsmen Park (9:30 AM - 1:00 PM) - 11-12 Year Olds Majors Try-Outs - mandatory participation

April 3 & 4, 2013 - Teaching for Tomorrow Coaches Training

April 6, 2013 - Fen Burdett Stadium (Mahon Park) - Coaches / Managers meeting/equipment/uniform pick up

North Van Central 2013 Winter Training

Baseball Winter Training 2013 – Indoors here on the North Shore!

North Vancouver Central Little League is proud to announce the 2013 Baseball Winter Training program with Inside Performance (http://www.insideperformance.ca) at their indoor baseball facility located just west of the Iron Workers Memorial Bridge. NVC has partnered with Inside Performance to design drills to improve on field performance focusing but limited to pitching, hitting and fielding. This is NVC's second year at Inside Performance and their top rate facility and coaching staff is highly recommended for those players wanting to take their game to the next level.

This program will be made available with a one-time 50% Scholarship from North Vancouver Central making it very affordable for our players - space is limited (20 players per age group) and registration closes on January 6, 2013 - secure your spot and register today!

NVC 2011 Big League District 5 Champions

We would like to thank and congratulate coaches Dal Nicholson, Mike Blundell, Brad Barker and manager Jacquie Gould for all of their time and effort this year!

The NVC Big League team captured the District 5 championship going undefeated through the double knock-out playoff and then winning the championship over two hard fought games. Congratulations to the players for their hardwork throughout the year!

North Van Central Introduces Play Ball!

THE PLAY BALL! PROGRAM is a new way of introducing the sport of Baseball to children. This program is patterned after informal playground games which teach all the basic skills for ALL players and skill levels.  It also provides parents/coaches the necessary tools to teach these skills and have fun with their child/team. The child will experience excitement, enjoyment and success. It is a weekly hour of FUN and LOTS OF ACTION. Participants will go home at the end of the night happy and tired, while improving their fitness level.

(The PLAY BALL! Program will be used in place of T-Ball for 5 & 6 year olds).

Challenger Division
Youth Volunteers Needed!

The Challenger Division is the Little League division designed solely for the cognitively and physically challenged kids in our community, to enjoy the benefits of Little League participation, in a totally fun atmosphere. Each participant is assigned an able-bodied "Buddy", who assists by leading, helping and mentoring each player. This program has been around since the late 80?s, but was only formed on the North Shore two years ago. All games are at Delbrook Park every Saturday morning at 10AM, from mid April until mid June.

We are currently looking for motivated, volunteer driven, leaders of the youth in our community to become "Buddies" for the 2012 season. School credits for volunteering of interest to you? If that fits your vision, we would love to hear from you as soon as possible.
