NTBA FORMS

Team Managers must provide proof of insurance, USSSA team roster, team info., and league payment before they can be scheduled.

Things reviewed at coaches meeting Sunday, February 24th night:

USSSA Roster –
1. All directors to provide John Galvan with a copy of each teams USSSA roster so games can be reported in USSSA at the end of the season.
2. Each team should be prepared with insurance, USSSA roster, and birth certificates at all games.
3. Coaches can challenge player eligibility anytime before the game starts.

We probably should clarify one point made at the coach’s meeting. Coaches will be responsible for monitoring their pitchers but as noted in the USSSA rules (link below), there are pitching limits established to help coaches manage this effort. USSSA rules will apply but NTBA will not require a log to be kept.

Protest –
1. Umpires can make a ruling to a protest provided the game will not be delayed more than 5-minutes.
2. Coaches can protest a game for $100. Information should include opposing team, umpires name, & reason for protest.
3. NTBA Director(s) can make an immediate ruling if they’re on-site.
4. Protest should be announced but the game should continue to finish if possible.
5. Protest meeting will not include parents, coaches only listed on the original NTBA contact form.
6. Protesting judgment calls by an umpire is not accepted.

Umpires –
1. Please give the umpires respect.
2. In the event umpires don’t report to the field on-time, please contact one of the directors.
3. Games will not be rescheduled because umpires are not available. Please ask for one volunteer from each team to stand in until umpires or directors are available.
