2006 News - Dedication Ceremony
A sign naming the Concession Stand after Allison Clark was unveiled during a dedication ceremony on Saturday, August 13. Allison worked in the stand for many years and was a favorite of many of our young players. She was always happy, always smiling. She filled the stand with much joy.

Also dedicated during the ceremony was a new Memory Garden built between the stand and the restroom building. This garden is divided with one half for Jonathan Hales, the other for Allison.

Jonathan was a player of average skill but he had a huge love for the game and desire to play. His attitude was one that each coach would like each player to have. An annual scholarship is given in his name.

Allison's parents, Dave and Sandy Clark, longtime parents in our league received a check representing the proceeds of the purple band sale in Allison's honor. The bands are adorned with Allison's name and the last line of a poem she wrote - "In my heart you'll stay".

Jonathan's parents, Barb and Herb Hales, were also in attendance along with his sister, Shelly, and other relatives. The Clarks were joined by other family members and friends as well.

We continue to miss Jonathan and Allison every day.

Pictures of the Memory Garden and the dedications can be found on the Albums page.
