Follow NTABR Alumnus Ricky Brooks in the Chicago White Sox Organization
2006 season - Ricky Brooks started the season with the Kannapolis Intimidators, the team with which he finished the 2005 season.
On July 26, 2005 Ricky Brooks was promoted from Bristol of the Appalachian League to Class A Kannapolis. The Intimidators play in the South Atlantic League.
Ricky was selected in the 3rd Round of the MLB Draft by the Chicago White Sox after a very successful sophomore season at East Carolina University. Ricky had previously been an 11th Round selection of the White Sox after his career at North Tonawanda High School in 2003.
Ricky decided to leave his collegiate career behind. He signed a contract with the Chicago White Sox and was assigned to the Bristol White Sox of the Appalachian League.
