| Hello, my interest in basketball has led me here in your website. I am 21 yrs old, Filipino and just moved in Mississauga recently. I have been playing basketball ever since I was in highschool and it was usually with my friends competing against strangers. Then after, I entered various basketball clinics supervised by PBA players and basketball coaches to expand my knowledge on basketball and also enhance my skills. When I entered college, my playing time decreased but still we would gather on Saturdays and just play basketball. I am very interested in becoming one of your players and I will be honored if you consider my application. Thank you |

Thanks Top Player, for your comments. I've been lazy to update the site, and the May 4th comments happened probably in 2001... don't you remember the last time PHYBA had a dinner & dance (before the Jayhawk-North dinner). I was furious at how the heads of certain organizations would try to bend the rules in their favour back then. But I am beyond that... maybe because I now know workings of the inner circle, or maybe because of the success of my teams.
I must say that the strength of PHYBA, especially on how it persisted after my doom prophesy some years back, is the dedication and commitment of the executive... especially that core group. Since that article, the group has kept a hardline against catering to the desires of the outspoken. And really has kept to the mandate of fair play. So kudos to Top Player and his group. And welcome to the North Stars website... I'll update soon! |

| Coach JTomines.....I read with much interst your comments dated 4th of May. What year? It's not the question. I wholeheartedly agree with your general concerns and issues that as of this time 2004, there are still same attitudes that prevailed since u started coaching. But there were positive developments, new rules, new attitudes that made some difference in our league. As admistrator of the league, we tried very much to make changes and it will take a hard look upon the clubs and other leaders as well. It's the old thinking, same thinngs and an aberration to change, thats the problem. Sometimes, it's easier to give up than initiate changes, slowly as they come, but if our team of like minded people like you will quit, who will initiate changes? It's a hard battle but someone must do it, somebody must lead it and everyone must see to it that it's done. Yes we like to be different, and we like to grow, who doesn't? I'd like new blood to continue what we have started and continue to make changes. We shall not stop doing what's the best for our league. |

Great job top coach!!Your site must be advertised in the PHYBA family. I believe it's only the northstars who has a site, and everyone must visit it. Continue doing the good job!! Any CanAm tourney pictures?

This is the reply to leo_gyal in the previous message. I tried emailing your address earlier, but you haven't responded.
We welcome all players, we don't have tryouts. So if you are interested in joining the ladies team, email me. |

| Hi, i have been informed about your organization. I have been to a number of your games last year (2001) and i noticed the fact that your organization is pretty well-rounded. I have seen your team(s) play and i was impressed. As a fan, i would like to know more about your organization in terms of where most of your games are usually located, how many teams are there in your organization, the age differences, and most importantly, if you will be doing any recruiting any time soon (or if not your organization, perhaps some other ones that i can join). It is in my interest to play in an organization other than my school teams. I was an MVP for my Senior Basketball Team (High School) last season; this year, unfortunately, our school does not have a senior team, however, i was chosen/volunteered to help out and be an assistant coah for our girls junior team. I have a few references that i can show you, if you wish. Please contact me by replying back as soon as possible. Thank you for your precious time and i hope to hear from you soon. |

| It seems that we just had a racist guestbook message. He's probably a wannabe player whose only dribbling comes from his mouth, and couldn't ball except like a baby... Oh well, that's what happens when your mother is also your sister. You know your idiot redneck when your family tree is a straight line! |
