Third poll of the year
Now baseball has started for real! Their have been a ton of high profile clashes around the state and many more continue around the area. The Rockets seem to have righted the ship knocking off every ranked team that they have played. Meanwhile, some of the other teams have found their level of play to rising. Their are a few undefeated teams in the state as of right now, who will continue?
1. Portland Rockets- Really? Them again? The rocket train is rolling and pointing towards a AABC run in August!
2. South Bend Senators- While still one of the top teams, they slip off the pedestal as the rockets come calling and take two in south bend.
3. Crumback-Symons- While the class of the Fort Wayne Fed, the Rockets took one from them in Fort Wayne
4. Warsaw Indians- Playing great baseball in the middle part of the State, looking towards a Fort Wayne NABF run.
5. Michigan City Stars- The team is steady as she goes, what are their plans for the end of the year?
6. Indianapolis Arrows- 8-0? Are you kidding me? Who are these guys and why don't they play more!
7. Shady Nook- Rich Brown and the boys have taken some knocks as of late, but continue to have success
8. Indianpolis Stallions- This is unusual, the first Indy team mentioned doesn't have a horse in their name! But Cary Davis will be there in the end, will the Stallions stomp the arrows?
9. Gary Patriots- The Patriots are having a solid year as always, but in a few weeks, coach Tony goes under the knife, will they be the same without him?
10. Franklin Cougars- The Cougars are 4-0 in the Midwest PBL. with some rain they have stayed undefeated.
11. Indianapolis Dodgers- The"Blue Crew" is in an awkward position of chasing two cars through the curves. They don't have a 3 way dance for the final who is the odd team out?
12. Geneva Cardinals- Yo-yo's don't go up and down as much as this team! After a successful trip to Chicago beating the Clout on their home field, they fall down against the Rockets!
13. La margarita Blues- Leo is suffering through a rebuilding season this year, still a dangerous team!
14. Midwest Tomahawks- With the season nearing the midway point, the tomahawks continue to surprise.
15. Fort Wayne Yankees- The Yankees sit at 6-1 in the Fort Wayne MABL, will they venture outside of the league to test the waters?
That's all for now, please send in a progress report of your team to Indiana semi-pro baseball by clicking the e-mail to the left and keep us informed!!!!!

Second poll of the year comes out!!!!
Some games have been played and more of the teams are starting to get rolling. The Patriots open up this weekend, as do the Senators. The Rockets fell to the Danville Warriors on Sunday before laying a 15-0 beating on them in game two. Lebanon and Geneva tangled on Sunday with a split for the day. The Indians remained unbeaten as well. On thursday, Crumback and Geneva met with a 1-0 decision for Crumback on a 6th inning home run for the winners, then Geneva dropped a 4-2 heartbreak to the 412 club on Thursday night.
1 South bend Senators- Come on, it's unfair to be this good this long!
2 Crumback-Symons- With South Bend going to Kankakee, we may not know until the NABF who the best in the state is.
3 Michigan City Stars- Tim Jahnz now runs the team, taking a more active role, how will this paly out?
4. Gary Patriots- Tony M. has set up his team to have a great run this summer.
5 Warsaw Indians- The Indians are undefeated, and hungry! Will they feast on fort Wayne?
6. La Margarita- Will Leo keep the team intact? Right now, they are the "dark horse" to topple Crumback.
7. Shady Nook- Not if Rich Brown and the Nookies have anything to say about it!
8. Indianapolis Arrows- Someone tell the Stallions, there is a new sheriff in town!
9 Lebanon Merchants- The Merchants have a solid squad, will they win the MPBL?
10 Geneva Cardinals- It doesn't matter who you lose to or how close it is, if you lose, you lose!
11. Portland Rockets- The Down south neighbor is looking for some redbird meat.
12. Indianpolis Stallions- Cary Davis is still whipping the Stallions for the home stretch, are the Arrows the real deal?
13. Indianpolis Dodgers- The Dodgers may finally play third fiddle, but the Boys in Blue have a stretch of games against the Arrows and the Stallions to make a statement!
14. Midwest Tomahawks- The tomahawks get started this week, time to scalp someone!
15. Lafayette Lumberjacks- This team might make some noise, if anyone knew where to play them?
