North Springs High School is located in Sandy Springs, Georgia and is a dual magnet school that provides both the Math/Science Magnet program as well as the Performing/Visual Arts program. The student population of North Springs is one that reflects cultural, geographic, and economic diversity. The Soccer Program is one that significantly embraces this cultural diversity and as an internationally celebrated sport, has clearly one of the most diverse group of athletes at North Springs.
North Springs fields both Men and Womens Varsity and Junior Varsity soccer. All students are eligible to play provided they meet the State Eligibility requirements.
Your contribution is used for equipment, referees, field maintenance, practice tshirts, equipment bags and uniforms. This years goal is to raise enough money to provide all four teams with matching uniforms and equipment kits. The current uniforms have been in use for an average of four years and are a variety of styles and colors

Welcome North Springs Soccer 2008!

North Springs offers Boys and Girls Varsity and Junior Varsity soccer. Conditioning practices begin after Thanksgiving. Pre-season workouts begin in early January and tryouts will be held the week of January 21st. Official practices begin January 28th immediately following team selections and continue every day after school through mid-April and into May for play-offs. Games are played weekday afternoons and evenings, and on Saturdays.
All North Springs High School students are eligible to participate in the NSHS Soccer Program at some level. Ninth graders are eligible to play on Varsity teams. Players must meet the State Eligibility Requirements.
Each player is asked to pay the team membership fee that will cover the cost of the program (tournaments, referees, equipment, field maintenance, uniforms). Players will be able to contribute directly to the Soccer Booster Club, solicit ads and sponsorships for the Soccer Booster Club Program and have the contribution apply to his/her membership fee, and participate in team fundraisers. These activities are necessary to provide all teams with the necessary equipment and opportunities.
Thanks to everyone who sent their support for the Women's Varsity Soccer team in their first trip to State Playoffs. The team played Chapel Hill on Wednesday night (5/2/07) and both teams played hard.
Chapel Hill scored two goals in the first half, but in the second half the Lady Spartans came back strong; they held Chapel Hill and our offense made many strikes on goal resulting in two goals that made it a tie game. With only two minutes remaining, Chapel Hill had possession and scored the game goal.
The Lady Spartans played with skill, heart, and sportsmanship making this first trip to State Playoffs a great experience. North Springs has a young Varsity team with only four seniors leaving this year, so next year should be another run to State Playoffs!! Stay tuned!!!
