Wayne State College Hit by Tornado - Rugby Clubs Need Your Help

On Oct. 4, a category F-4 tornado came to Wayne, Nebraska and left behind damage to building and facilities. Thankfully there was no one seriously hurt.

It did significant damage to Wayne Rugby Park. Wayne Rugby Park is the home of the Wayne State College Men and Women Rugby clubs. The Women's club is the 2012 NSCRO National Championship.

See Handout below for an article about the creation of Wayne Rugby Park. I have been there 3 teams for NSCRO events and can testify to the amazing accomplishments that head coach Darrin Barner and his ruggers have realized. They did so without funding from the college or the city of Wayne. The complex was built on dreams and 11 years of hard work over the years by the Wildcat Rugby Club in Wayne, Nebraska. What was built by "blood and sweat" from the ground up is now leveled.

See complete info about what happened and how you and your teammates can help by clicking on the Headline above which links to http://www.marchmadnessrugby.com/tornado/.

The survival of the club and the rebuilding of the rugby park is up to all for the love of the game.

Let's all give something to help Wayne Rugby Park regain its rugby splendor. Ruggers for ruggers.

With you.
