The Empire GU is Hiring a Part-Time Paid Administrator - Apply by January 6

The Empire GU is hiring a part-time paid administrator. This position will work directly with the Empire GU Board and USA Rugby staff members in multiple departments. Amongst other responsibilities, this individual will facilitate registration, perform compliance checks and enforcement, ensure smooth operation of competitions, adequate coach and referee opportunities, and create clear communication to all GU club and individual members and stakeholders regarding rugby in the area. In conjunction with the GU Board of Directors, the GU Administrator will regularly monitor and report on the performance of the GU against goals and objectives.

The administrator’s responsibilities will fall under both the Empire GU and also USAR, but the role will be managed by the Union.

Selection to this position might require the availability and ability to complete a mandatory, comprehensive training session which may require travel outside the regional area for 3-5 days. The paid admin is expected to be available during daytime hours, though there is no regimented schedule set forth.

The incumbent is expected to work approximately 15 hours per week and pay will be $1250/month. Submissions for applications should be sent to empireGU@gmail.com by January 6th.
