National Small College Rugby Organization LLC: Latest News: Team and Player Recognition News at Women's National Championship

NSCRO is pleased to announce that Martha Daines, the Head Coach of USA Rugby's Women's Collegiate All-American team, will attend the event. She will be there to see first-hand the skill level of small college players and also be part of the "selection" committee who will pick the "All-NSCRO Championship XV" team and the Event MVP.

This is another way USA Rugby is showing its commitment to Small Colleges.

NSCRO understands the importance to recognize the accomplishments of the fine student-athletes who have worked long and hard to reach the pinacle of Small College rugby success. The following trophies and awards will be provided following the National Championship match.

Team Trophies
1st Place, 2nd Place, 3rd Place and 4th Place

Player Awards
MVP - best overall player during the event
"Heart & Soul" match ball - this will be given to a player on each team (as selected by the head coach), generally a senior, who was been an inspiration and significant contributor to the club on and off the field. She will be given a match ball that we hope all of her teammates will sign in appreciation of what she has meant to their team.
NSCRO Medals (gold, silver and bronze) will be awarded to the players on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams.
"All-NSCRO Championship XV" Team NSCRO will recognize the "best" player by position in selecting this team. Each player will received a trophy recognizing their selection.
