Parkside edged the University of Southern Indiana this past weekend 25-20 to earn a trip to Cottage Grove. Notre Dame College from Euclid, Ohio is new to rugby but has taken on the challenge of building a rugby program with the extensive support of the College offering scholarships and more. *WISCARFU competition was held between the top 2 small college teams from the Chicago Area and Wisconsin RFUs. Parkside defeated UW-Stevens Point in the final 28-15.

In the other semifinal, Minnesota RFU Champ St. John's University who beat UW-River Falls 53-0 on Sunday to gain entry into the NSCRO playoffs will face the Three Rivers RC Champion Grove City College. Grove City defeated Calvin College (Great Lakes Conference Runnerup) 26-12 this past Saturday.
