University of Texas-Dallas held off UT-San Antonio 15 to 10 to win the Texas RU Division 3 Championship.

UT-Dallas coach, Tony Wagner reported: "It was a real cracker of a match, UTSA threw at us all kinds of things and my lads responded by playing their best rugby. In a nut shell, we were down 10 - 0, fought back to cut the lead to 10 - 8 at the half, then scored our second try of the match and converted it to take the lead 15 - 10. UTSA attacked us in our red zone the last 6 minutes. We didn't break, the lads showed tremondous heart last night, so now we're planning on making that trip to Wayne and seeing what we can do there."
