George Laws has been the GM of the North Shore Black Sox since team inception in 2006 and also a founding member of the team along with John "Smokey" Moore. They were part of the MSBL AL championship team known as The Revere Lugnuts in 2004 before starting their own team in 2006. George grew up in Malden,Ma where he excelled in baseball at every level including American Legion. He is also a coach at St. Mary's Cal Ripken in Revere,Ma where he coaches his 2 sons and resides today with his wife.
