New Richmond Girls Fastpitch Softball: News: New Richmond Girls Youth Softball Association 2009 Updates

We offer two levels of competition: 

Traveling Team
Girls will be required to attend a tryout process at the U10, U12, U14 and U16 levels. This level is designed to be more competitive and challenging. Girls at the U10, U12, U14 and U16 levels will be playing in the Tri County League.  They will also play in a few tournaments including the New Richmond Early Bird June 12-14 and the League tournaments.   

Dates are:

• U10 - June 26-28 at Mds.View
• U12 - June 26-28 at N.St.Paul
• U14 - July 10-12 at Inver Gr. Hts.
• U16 - July 10-12 at Eagan/Mds.View  

Fee: $150.00 if uniform is needed /  $100.00 if no uniform is needed {due at registration} + Volunteer Hour Program fee of $100

Recreation Team
Girls on the Recreation Team will not tryout. This level is designed for girls at the U10 and U12 levels that have an interest in softball but at a lower competitive level. They will play against local community teams 1-2 nights per week from June-July.       
Fee: $75.00 

Volunteer Hour/Fee program at the Traveling Team level will help with our fundraising efforts. At registration we will require a separate $100.00 check per family. These checks will not be cashed at this time. To receive your check back we will require 4 hours of volunteer time per family.

• Early Bird Tournament
• Brat stand
• Varsity Girls concession stand
•  Team managers
• Pickup and delivery of concession items 

You will have the opportunity to signup for hours with our Volunteer Coordinator: Kim Pastorius, when the dates and times become available after April 15^th. Check our website for information. The volunteer program applies only to the Traveling program.
