Home of the 2008 9/10 Softball State Champions and the 2004 11/12 Softball State Champions.

We are located on Rt 25A in Rocky Point, New York. We service the children of Rocky Point, Miller Place and Mt. Sinai school districts. This League is for ages 6 - 16, you must be 6 by May 1st of the current year to be eligibe to play.

If you are a new registrant at NSLL you will need to bring the following with you to registration:

1. Original, raised seal, birth certificate. The first time you register we must see this document and then after, it won't be necessary. Player must be age 6 prior to May 1, 2010 to be eligible to play at NSLL.

2. Two proofs of residency. Typically these are utility bill's, bank statement, cable bills, rental agreements, drivers license. As with the above, this is required he first time you register your child with NSLL, and from then on not required again.

3. A check, credit card or cash for the registration fees. 

Please proceed to the NEW PLAYER table. You will be given a registration card to fill out and then return for verification, along with your proofs. After verification, you will then proceed directly to the payment table.

NSLL announces the 2010 registration dates:

Jan 12, 2010 7pm to 9pm Mount Sinai Middle School 

Jan 14, 2010 7pm to 9pm Rocky Point JAE School

Jan 16, 2010 10am to 12:30pm North Country Road School, Miller Place 

Jan 23, 2010 10am to 12:30pm North Country Road School, Miller Place

  This is the final registration date. All late registrants are on a stand by basis. 

Fees for 2010 are:

$110 for 1 Player

$205 for 2 Players (in same family)

$300 for 3 Players (in same family)

$395 for 4 or more Players (in same family)

Jr/Sr Leagues are excluded from above and the rate is $120 per player.

Currently, NSLL has a large umpire staff and does not plan on holding a class for the 2010 season. This may change, as current umpires have been asked to respond if they are planning on returning or not.

If you would like to be placed on a waiting list for possible inclusion to the staff, please do one of these options:

1.     While at registration for other family members or for Jr/Sr registration, please give your info to the person manning the coach's sign-up table, or,

2.    Email NSLLump@optonline.net with your name, age, phone and email. You will get a response that it has been received.

Requirements: Must be league age 13 or older, have availability to be at games during the week and on Saturdays. Will normally work 2-3 games per week. You must pass the umpire class test and attend the field training.  

Class date will be announce if we decide to open up the staff list.

In the past we gave a team ID and password out to access the website.  Eteamz has changed this ability.  Now anyone who wants to see information on the website that is secured needs there own logon, please try to do 1 per house hold if possible.

FOR WEBSITE ACCESS I NEED THE FOLOWING INFORMATION:

All Pets are asked to stay at home.  We would ask that all Dogs, Cats, etc be left at home.  This is a request from NSLL.

This comes from Williamsport and we must enforce it. 

In effect for the 2009 season is the requirement that all non-wood bats used in Little League Baseball (Majors) Divisions and below shall be printed with a BPF of 1.15 or less.
 
This stipulation has been included in the Official Rules and Regulations for the past few years, leading up to 2009, so that leagues, parents, and bat manufacturers could prepare for it.
 
Most non-wood bats manufactured over the past several years for the age groups involved in Little League Baseball (Majors) and below have been permanently imprinted with the BPF. In fact, very few bats sold today with a diameter of 2-1/4 (two and one-quarter) inches are not printed with the BPF rating.
 
So, starting with the 2009 season, bats printed with a BPF higher than 1.15, or without a BPF printed (or not legible) on the bat, are not permitted in these divisions.
