Colts Parents and Mt. Sinai Residents!!

God Bless Nicole Tartaglia
& God Bless Bill, Karen, Billy and Guilia...
What a terrible week... Tuesday Nicole Tartaglia passed away... It's always a tragedy when a child passes...I just wanted to say that she was loved so much.. She was blessed with a Very Special and Wonderful Family...She touched more people in her short life then most in a lifetime... We just came back from her funeral... The ceremony was beautiful.... She was surrounded by her family and friends. The amount of people there showed how she touched so many..... She was a special person.... Nicole will be missed.... This week made my heart very sad, and made me again realize what is important in life.

The statement below only reiterates my original feelings..What really counts in life is family, especially our children.... Unfortunately we take for granted that which we were blessed with....I know for a fact that Bill and Karen never took any second of Nicole, Billy or Guilia's lives for granted, and never will... They know they were blessed and made sure every moment of Nicole's life, she knew she was loved very much!!!!! They always did and do the right thing for the children.
So I thank Bill and Karen for everything they do, and for teaching me, for as long as I know them, what life is really about... Thank you...

God Bless You !!!!!!!!
Love Chris V.
The North Shore Colts is a true organization...
They have been around for over 30 years and will continue to be around for at least 30 more...
In years past at least 2 parents have left our league to start up a league for their community... The Sharks to the East and 3Village to the West, and a 3rd is about to start for the Comsewogue community.... all of which is good for those growing football communities....   except...
Some Coaches / Parents have a need, their need is for themselves... it's greed...
Not all of them, but some of them.
If they are doing it to help their community directly, that's good, but there is always a few that are looking out for themselves - So, if a Mt. Sinai resident goes to another league, who are they hurting? Not the Colts, We are over 400 strong! Who are they doing it for???? Y
ou know who....not their child, not their community, but rather, for themselves.
It's too bad too because their Child suffers in the long run...
The Colts have always been and will continue to be about the kids. Sometimes Coaches and Parents don't agree, that's because they only see their side.. That is not true of the league... the league is for all the children who participate. We have to make decisions for all the children, not just 1 or 2...
So please remember, the Colts are here for your children, and the entire leagues children's best interest.... And that interest is also our communities best interest... our motive is to introduce Cheerleading and Football to the children and to help them get better prepared for school ball!!.....
Like always, I thank you for being part of the "Best Game in Town"!
The North Shore Colts!!!!!!!!!!

NORTH SHORE COLTS
The Best Game in Town! The N.S. Colts

To all of the 9 Year Old (Ammirato) Players, Parents and Coaches,

I don't know about you, but I think the boys did great today. We didn't win, but they followed instructions better than before and I saw some true effort on the field! Sayville had 5 extra guys compared to our 1! Leaving the field losing is never fun, but I was proud of them!

I made a bet with the team at 1/2 time when we were down by 3 touchdowns...I didn't want to leave with a shut out so I told them I'd bring ice cream to the next practice if they scored a touchdown...they got out there and scored!! Please let your sons know that I have Arctic Bars, Bomb Pops and Ice Cream Sandwiches for tomorrow night.

Cudos to:

Corey - for tackling good and not killing #39; and for scoring the touchdown earning ice cream for the team

Matt - for being fast as lightning and tough as nails

Parker - For giving 100% in covering the X position and being in the right place at the right time

Brendan - for running so fast and being everywhere you are needed

Dan - for taking the ball and knocking over people in your way to make yards and for throwing a great pass.

Anthony - for blocking big guys as if you was 100 lbs, and for spreading the word that I'd bring Ice cream for a touchdown!

Nick - For blocking well and for being a touch Nose Tackle

Kyle B. - For blocking well and keeping our quarterback safe

Kyle G - For protecting Ryan in offensive plays! And for being the leader and boosting morale with starburst at 1/2 time! A sugar rush is always good for the team!

Ryan - for being the toughest kid on the team. You play an awesome quarterback, a good linebacker, and somehow get the attention of all your teammates.

Zach - for being touch on defense and unstoppable on offense.

Billy - my reason for coming to the games...you make me proud!!

Dan M., Dylan, Dimitri - for playing the toughest position of them all...spectator! We wish you all a quick recovery! Your attendance at the games, brings the team strength.   For each game one of you can return to...will be a victory for us. Thank you for being a Team Mate!

See you all tomorrow at practice!

Marianne(Billy's Mom)

    What a great team effort.

You guys came out in the second half of that game and did a great job.

Together the entire team stuffed the Lions both on Defense and together ran over them on Offense.

Keep up the 110% effort and the wins will come easy.....
