The new Season starts August 1st 

All checks, money orders, cashier checks are to be  made out to: NorthEast Tampa Pirates

All physicals must be dated after January 2012 and  on the 2012 PopWarner Physical form, only original forms will be accepted, no faxes or photocopies once the physical form has been completed by a medical professional. 

PAPERWORK NEEDED TO PRE-REGISTER FOR 2012.

1.  Completed Application

                      2. Sports Physical on the Pop Warner form only

                           3. Two copies of  the child's end of school term report card with all 4 nine weeks present

             4. Current Photo wallet size

                       5. Original Birth Certificate is needed only if you are a first time participant with the NET PIRATES, if your child played last year, we should have your child's certified copy birth certificate on file.  

 GENERAL SEASON INFORMATION:

The Football/Cheer Season will begin on August 1st, which is also the first day of practice. All fees must be paid in full and all registration paperwork required must be turned in before your child will be able to start practicing. The first 2-3 weeks will be the conditioning period and practice will be held Monday thru Friday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Thereafter, practice will be held Tuesday thru Thursday from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. All games are held on Saturdays. There are generally 9 regular season games with the possibility of post-season play which is based on the team's performance. Of these games, we will have 4 home games and the balance will be played at the other team's home field. Once the regular season has ended, we typically participate in bowl games which is a one day event. You can vist FYD Tampa Bay Pop Warner website by selecting "Links" to see a listing of other associations in the our league. Our home field will be located at  Tampa Bay Technical High School, 6410 Orient Road Tampa, Fl 33610.

*The asterisked (*) provisions in each division allow the so-called "older but lighter" player to also qualify.

A child's age on July 31 is his/her age for the season. A player may gain 1 pound per week after the second game, up to a maximum of 9 pounds.
