TRYOUTS

The Redhawks will be entering the new Kings Soccer Academy as a Level 2 team and will be attending the level 1 & 2 tryouts. Any players interested in securing a spot on the team for the fall 2008 season should attend the level 1/2 tryouts. Please contact Rick Wessels at rwessels@choice.net for further information.

SPRING 2008

The U10 Redhawks made a clean sweep of the U11 CUSL Second division by going 8-0-0 in their first season of 8v8 play and have successfully advanced to the U12 First division for the fall 2008 season.  For the season, the Redhawks scored 49 goals in league play while only giving up 7.  Overall, the Redhawks finished at 13-1, with the lone loss coming in the U11 Gold Division final of the Club X tounament to the host team.

FALL 2007
The U10 Redhawks finished their fall season with a 18-1 record, with their only loss coming in the Forest Park Invitational, where they played in the U11 Gold bracket and lost in the final by a score of 1-0. They finished a perfect 7-0 in CUSL premier league play for a second consecutive premier league title. The Redhawks also went 4-0 at the prestigious Scott Gallagher Friendlies in St. Louis, Missouri and won the U10 Gold division of the Fall Ball tournament. For the season, the Redhawks scored 84 goals while allowing only 17 and recorded 6 shutouts.


ABOUT THE TEAM
The NK United U10 Redhawks began play as a U8 team in the Spring 2006 season, playing in the new CUSL U8 league and winning the premier title their first season. The record for the U10 Redhawks in CUSL league play is 33-1-1 since they joined CUSL in the spring of 2006. Their current overall team record stands at 77-5-1 after the spring 2008 season and after winning the U11 Second Division title, they will be playing in the First Division of CUSL U12 in the fall of 2008 as a U11 team. This team is comprised of boys from both Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati. Players are required to be born between 8/1/97 - 7/31/98.
