The Garden State Law Enforcement Officers Association was created on January 15, 1996 by a group of New Jersey Enforcement Officers concerned with families of Law Enforcement who have lost their loved ones "In the Line of Duty" or to an "Untimely Death". These officers also saw the assistance that active Law Enforcement Officers suffering from "Debilitating Injuries and Illnesses" needed and created a fund in especially for them.

The Garden State Law Enforcement Officers Association is statewide organization, which has been classified as a 501(c)(3) organization. Therefore any donations and/or dues are tax deductable. Any active, retired or part-time Law Enforcement Officer is eligible for membership.

Each year between 140 and 160 Law Enforcement Officers pay the ultimate sacrifice and thousands more are injured in the performance of their duties, it is our hope that our organization can assist those affected in some way.

Our organization has also been very active in the community since its inception and donates regularly to the following charities:

    NJ Special Olympics

    Bowman Survivors Fund

    Police Unity Tour

    March of Dimes

    American Cancer Foundation

    NJ Blind Citizens Association

    CJ SIDS Foundation

    Emmanuel Cancer Foundation

    Be The Match Foundation

Also, The Garden State Law Enforcement Officers Association has created the following organizational programs and funds:

    Survivors Fund

    Officer Assistance Program

    College Scholarship Fund

    Community Action Fund

Once again I welcome you and hope you enjoy our site.

Sincerely Yours

GAMIN' RIDE: MICHAEL FALGARES

A Mobile Franchise Brings the Party to Kids

Fun on Wheels: Gamin' Ride's Michael Falgares.

Michael Falgares' idea came to him during a trip to Amsterdam: Why not make video games portable? In 2008, he traveled with his father, Phil, to the Netherlands to check out the latest in video game technology, a dance pad called iDance that lets up to 32 players participate at once. The Falgareses signed up to become U.S. resellers.

But the younger Falgares, of Asbury Park, N.J.--who has taught first grade, fifth grade and special education, owned a preschool and worked as a DJ-- wasn't interested in just selling the pads. So he had a trailer outfitted with 16 vibrating gaming seats and flat-screen TVs, installed a rockin' sound system and plugged in gaming systems with a huge assortment of the latest games. Add to that the iDance pads, laser tag and a ball cannon, and Gamin' Ride was born.
