2011 Fall Ball
We are having registrations for 2011 Fall Ball at the N.J.G.S.L fields on the following dates:
July 20th from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
and
July 23rd from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm
Monday, February 7
Spring 2011 Season in Full Swing!
Now that the player drafts are complete you should expect to be contacted by your team by Feb 20th. Teams will be allowed to practice starting Feb 22nd so you should expect practices to begin sometime on or after this date. Players should have a softball glove, cleats, athletic shirts & pants, and water for practices. Check with your teams coaches for additional details.
We will also be conduction our 20th annual players clinics on February 26th. For those of you who have not signed up for the fundamentals skills clinic or pitching clinic we will be accepting walk up registration on the day of the clinics. Check our home page for times for each age division.

The Strike Zone Tryouts 2011 - 2012 Season
The Strike Zone will be conducting tryouts August 13th Brookvale Elementary School 3400 Nicolet Avenue, Fremont 11am pitchers and catchers. 12pm-2pm for all others. Also, August 14th at Justin Siena High School, Napa Ca at 10:00 AM
The Strike Zone offers teams in every age group (10U, 12U, 14U, 16U, 18U & 18G). Each team is coached by an experienced and proven coaching staff. Every year nearly 100 young women put on the Strike Zone uniform. Those young women have included a few hundred D1 college softball athletes, numerous All Americans and two current members of the US Olympic Team (Vicky Galindo 1996-2003 & Alissa Haber (1998-2006). The weather is finally cooperating and we are excited get out on the diamond and play some softball! Please check the age division pages for game scores and teams standings. The revised game schedules for all age divisions are now available in our handouts and forms section.

Due to the weather Opening Day Ceremonies and all games have been CANCELLED for this weekend. Opening day ceremonies have been rescheduled for Saturday April 16th at 8:00 am. With the uncertain weather conditions in the coming week we recommend that you check the league hot line for game schedule updates and cancellation information.

The Spring 2011 Game Schedules are set! You can view the schedules for each division by selecting from the 8U, 10U, 12U tabs to the left. A printable version of each division schedule can be found in the handouts and forms section. We will be adding season standings for each division on a weekly basis once the season starts.
Free Softball Clinic offered by the Vintage High Varsity Coaches: March 19th-20th
The Vintage High School Varsity Softball coaching staff, and the Napa Sheriff’s Activities League, have teamed up to provide Napa girls ages 12-16 a FREE two day softball clinic. The clinic will be held on March 19-20, 2011 at the Vintage High School Varsity diamond. Head Coach Ward Mullin, and his staff, will be teaching fundamentals as well as advanced hitting and fielding techniques. This clinic will be offered to girls of all levels of play, from beginners to advanced.All girls will be provided a T-shirt sponsored by the Napa Sheriff’s Activities League. Hours of play will be from 9 AM to 4 PM both Saturday and Sunday. A lunch break will be from noon to 1PM. (Bring your own lunch) Sign up today by calling the Sheriff’s Activities League, Monday through Friday, 2PM to 7PM. 224-5005. (Sign up cut off date will be Friday, March 14)
