Head Field Hockey Coach - Kenyon College

Kenyon College invites applications for the full-time position of Head Women's Field Hockey Coach.  Kenyon College, a highly selective liberal arts college of 1600 students, is a Division III member of the NCAA and is a founding member of the North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC).  Kenyon offers twenty-two varsity sports, eleven for men and eleven for women.  The college is located in the beautiful village of Gambier, 50 miles northeast of Columbus, Ohio.

 

In the last four years, Kenyon's Field Hockey program has made two NCAA appearances, captured both the NCAC regular-season championship and the NCAC Tournament title, and celebrated two All-American selections.

 

The Head Women's Field Hockey Coach will be responsible for all phases of directing and managing a successful field hockey program at the NCAA level.  Responsibilities include:  recruiting elite level students and athletes, coaching and instructing, supervising an assistant coach, building a nationally competitive schedule, managing budgets and tracking equipment, arranging travel, strength training and conditioning, and developing alumni contacts.  The position includes teaching one class per semester and an additional Game Management responsibility in another sport.  A Bachelor's degree is required, Master's degree preferred.  Prior successful Field Hockey coaching experience is a pre-requisite, preferably at the college level.  Candidate must possess excellent organizational skills and outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.  Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications.  This is a 10-month reporting position.  Employment at Kenyon is contingent upon a successful background check.  Candidates may inquire by phone with Amy Williams, Assistant Athletic Director at (740)427-5024.

Assistant Coach - SUNY Oswego

SUNY Oswego is opening a position for a field hockey assistant coach. It is highly reccomended that the person plans on attending graduate school at SUNY Oswego. This position includes free classes and a salary. Candidate should have a background in field hockey and someone that has goalie experience would be greatly appreciated (but does not have to).
