Announcement
Dear Parents,
We are very excited to announce that there has been a merger between the New Tampa Patriots and the New Tampa Sharks. This is a great win for the community of New Tampa. This unification will provide an organizational structure with greater opportunities for the youth of New Tampa to develop football and cheer skills. We will be fielding teams in both Pop Warner Division 1 and Division 2.
We are looking to have in person registration on March 5, 2011 at the New Tampa YMCA. Specific times and more details will follow. Alternatively, online registration is also available. We have a lot of work to do over the course of the next few months. One of the items is a new team name and here is where we could use your help. Talk about possible names with your family at the dinner table, at Starbucks, or while driving to school. Respond to this email with your “best” suggestion ntpopwarner@live.com . Please submit your suggest for team names no later than Saturday, 2/12/11. The team name will be picked from your responses. The family that provides the winning team will win a $20 gift card for Dick’s Sporting Goods.
We are extremely excited about this news. We are looking forward to the kids wearing their new jersey’s to school on Fridays. We are looking forward to those Saturdays where your neighbors and the friends of your kids are playing and cheering for the same organization.
