Hello Tigers!!
We cannot believe the season is over! Congratulations to Emily, Camille and Serena for
advancing on to CCS on November 10th. We also wanted to remind everyone that the Fall
Sports Awards are on November 15th at 6:30 in Moore Pavilion. This is when awards are
given out and special members of the team are recognized. We encourage everyone to attend.
Several members of the team are also trying to organize a team dinner afterward, so look for
updates to come. Lastly, we need everyone to please turn in your uniforms. If you do not have
them returned in a timely matter, we will have to take action to recover loss we incur.
They are brand new uniforms, so please respect the fact that others will need to use
them in the future. So please, please, please turn them in by the Fall Sports Awards.
Other reminders
1. Bring water with you every day to drink at school and practice. Preferably it will be larger than a regular 16 ounce bottle of water, many prefer reusable water bottles so they don't get mixed up with other teamate's water bottles.
2. Always have a sweatshirt, sweatpants and if possible a wind breaker with you in your sports bags. Even if it is blazing hot outside, we live in the Bay Area and the fog can role in at any time in the afternoon.
3. Try and have food in your bag (especially if we are on the road) like a granola bar or powerbar because we are almost certain that you will be hungry after a race or even a long practice.
4. If there is any medicine you will need for running, please make the coaches aware and have it handy in case of emergencies. Also, if you wear a medic alert bracelet, please let the coaches know.
5. Other things that over the years that the coaches deemed useful to have available in your athletic bag: sunscreen, ponytail holders, chapstick, hats, extra socks, some extra cash and a bag for jewlerey so you do not have any catastrophic losses.
