1.) How do I select the right bat for my child?

To find the right size bat for your child, find their height in the chart below. Then find the column with their weight and move across the chart until you come to the header containing their weight. This meeting point, in inches, indicates the best bat length for your child. When deciding between 2 or 3 bats, find the correct length first, then let the weight be the deciding factor.
A good test to make sure the bat is a good fit is to have your child. have the child hold the bat in one hand and extend their arm in front of them. If the child can balance the bat, you've got a good fit.

Most bats come with a rating like -11 or -13.  The MINUS (-) DROP: Refers to the differential between the length and weight of a bat. As an example a (-)10 bat would be a 29" length 19 oz weight bat. The lighter the bat, the faster the swing.

*Our league sets a maximum differential of -12 on bats for all leagues. Any player caught using an illegal bat will automatically be declared out.
