WELCOME! WELCOME! WELCOME! THE 2008-2009 SEASON HAS BEGUN!
WE ARE A CLUB OF MUSHING (SLED-DOGS) ENTHUSIASTS LOOKING TO PROMOTE THE ENJOYMENT OF RAISING AND RACING SLED DOGS. WE ARE BASED IN THE SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND AREA AND HAVE BEEN OPERATING AS A CLUB SINCE 1974. MEMBERS AGES RANGE FROM 6 TO 60 AND MEMBERS HAVE AS LITTLE AS ONE DOG TO AS MANY AS 30 DOGS. OUR RACES ARE HELD AT THE ARCADIA MANAGEMENT AREA, EXETER, RHODE ISLAND, AND THE FREETOWN STATE FOREST, FREETOWN MASSACHUSETTS. OUR SCHEDULE STARTS WITH TRAINING "CLINICS" HELD IN THE FINAL SUNDAYS IN OCTOBER (AS LONG AS THE WEATHER IS COLD ENOUGH) AND CONTINUES THROUGHOUT THE FALL AND WINTER.

Remember all of our racing/training locations are public facilities, please be courteous when there are other people(horses, hunters, bikers..) using the trails. Everyone has a right to use them.....

FLUORESCENT ORANGE IS THE COLOR OF THE SEASON.....
Just a reminder..... all participants and spectators, must wear orange when attending the events in Arcadia Manangement area. This is a Rhode Island Law, AND a good idea. Let's make sure everyone is safe. For those of you who may have extra orange, please bring some for people who may show up to watch the races.

Welcome back!!! Now's the time to start evaluating dogs and equipment for the upcoming season. The club has been contacted regarding some dogs that are available. Ben Thomas has some good dogs, of all ages/sizes/and colors. Tom Kowalcky knows of a dog that needs a home, He is Black and White (Becki take note). Contact the club for more info. Some equipment is for sale, check out the Message boards.....
