City Championship
Phillies 13 Tigers 12
Down to the last pitch with the tieing run 80 feet away and the winning run 160 feet away the Phillies retired the last Tiger on a deep fly ball to left field to secure the top spot. A great game to watch, and obviously a great game to have played in. Congrats to both the Phillies (18-3) and the Tigers (17-4) on great seasons.

It came down to the final game in a classic matchup last night between two great teams.

Congratulations to all the players, parents and coaches. A great conclusion to a great season!

An All-Star night at Knoch
The AA all-stars brought down the curtain on the 09 AA season on Thursday night with two hard fought all-star games. The 14's played down to the last batter of the night, tie score, bases loaded, two outs and the time limit elapsed. What a great game. Congrats to all of the participants, their star will shine for years with the memories and friendships made on this evening.

AA Championship Game
The Mud Hens defeated Haydens in a game that went down to the last pitch. An awesome game by two excellent teams. The huge crowd on hand flooded the field for handshakes, huggs, photos and cudos to the teams! The AA participants started the tradition that has taken place in the A league over the past two years.
A Championship picture taken of both teams together as one. It shows our town may be very large, but our baseball community is small but special. Congrats to both teams and all the players of 2009.

Glove Lost on July 3 at DuPage River Park
A 25 year old Mizuno brown leather glove was lost on Friday, July 3 around noon in the parking lot at DuPage River park. It's old and beat up, but has much sentimental value! The owner may have driven off with it laying on the car. If you have any information about the glove, please call 630-408-7709. Thanks!
