BOYS GRADES 5-8 PROGRAM
Our goal is to create a fun and exciting place for boys to learn the fundamentals of the game of basketball while focusing on the development of team concepts, individual skills and good sportsmanship on and off the court.
The In-house program has 12 teams in each of the 5/6th & 7/8th grade divisions. Each in-house team will also travel to play other in-house teams from Georgetown and Methuen during the season. Practices begin late November and games begin in December. The season ends by the end of February. At the end of the season, league playoffs will crown a champion.
The registration fee is $70.
On-line registration begins on 8/1 and ends on 10/31.
The Travel teams are part of Cape Ann Youth Travel Basketball and Merrimack Valley Youth Basketball Leagues. Information including game schedules and directions can be found on the leagues' websites, Cape Ann Youth Basketball and Merrimack Valley Youth Basketball . Games run from December to March ending in a week of playoffs.
GRADES 2-4 SATURDAY MORNING BASKETBALL PROGRAM
The Saturday morning basketball program is available to boys and girls in Grades 2-4 and runs from early December to early March. Grades 2 and 3 will be an instructional program that will allow the kids to learn the basic fundamentals of the game in a fun environment. Grades 2-3 will not be placed on teams and will practice for one hour on Saturdays. Grade 4 will be a league format with an eight game schedule and playoffs. Grade 4 will have one practice during the week and a morning game on Saturday.
The cost of the program is $30 for Grades 2-3 and $50 for Grade 4.
On-line registration begins on 8/1 and ends on 11/15.

Grade 2: 10:00 AM (Last Names A-M) and 11:00 AM (Last Names N-Z)
Grade 3: 8:00 AM (Last Names A-M) and 9:00 AM (Last Names N-Z)
- All practices will be held at Sargent School
- Practices begin on December 5th
- No practices on December 26th, January 2nd, and February 13th
- Final practice is on February 27th (Hot Shot Competition)
