Welcome to the North Andover Booster Club Boys Basketball program.  The North Andover Booster Club offers basketball programs for boys in grades 2-8.

Boys Evaluations: Players interested in trying out for a boys travel basketball team should report on the following dates and times:

10/27 (North Andover Middle School)

  • 5th grade - 5:30-7:15
  • 7th grade - 7:30-9:00

10/28 (North Andover High School)

  • 6th grade - 5:30-7:15
  • 8th grade - 7:30-9:00

10/29 (North Andover Middle School)

  • 5th grade - 5:30-7:15
  • 7th grade - 7:30-9:00

10/30 (North Andover Middle School)

  • 6th grade - 5:30-7:15
  • 8th grade - 7:30-9:00

Important Reminders:

  • Please sign up on the website prior to travel evaluations
  • For players in the later travel sessions, please arrive 15-20 minutes early to check in, so we can start your session on time





Goal:  To create a fun and safe environment to introduce the fundamental skills of basketball to the youngest players.

Format:  Clinics on Saturday mornings for approximately 60 minutes from early December to late February.

The cost of the program is $40. Registration is open until 11/15.


Goal: To create a fun, safe, and exciting activity.  To expand fundamental basketball skills to developing players.  To introduce the basic concepts of team play.  To encourage good sportmanship both on and off the court.

Format:  Players will be assigned to teams.  Teams will have one practice during the week, and one game per week on Saturday mornings at the North Andover Youth Center.  Teams will play in a league format with an eight game schedule followed by playoffs.

The cost of the program is $80.   Registration is open until 11/15. Note: Late registrations will close by 11/30 and will be available only if space permits.


Goal:  To create a safe, exciting activity at different competitive levels for older players to continue development of individual basketball skills.  To focus on team concepts.  To support good sportsmanship on and off the court.


      IN-TOWN LEAGUE -  Approximately 12 -14  teams compete in Gr. 5-6 and Gr. 7-8 divisions.  Teams will have at least one practice and one game per week.  Practices and games run from early December thru late February/early March.

The registration fee is $105 and is open until 10/31.  An additional fee of $20 will be charged for registrations after this date.  Note: Late registrations will close by 11/15 and will be available only if space permits.

      TRAVEL LEAGUE -  The travel program is designed for players with more advanced skills, and requires a greater time commitment than the in-town program.  Players are chosen through a try-out process.  Please check this site frequently for the try-out schedule

Two teams are selected per grade.  One team participates in the Cape Ann Youth Travel Basketball league, while the other team competes in the Merrimack Valley Youth Basketball league.  Teams have two practices and up to two games per week.  Travel teams also participate in three competitive tournaments during the season.

Besides the registration fee of $105, an additional fee of $80 is collected by the coaches AFTER a player has made a travel team.
