Welcome to the Mundelein Thunder Website
The Mundelein Thunder fields teams in the 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U and 18U age brackets. We offer competitive girls fastpitch softball with clinics held during the off-season. All of our teams participate in regular games and tournaments during the playing season.

Thunder 18U takes second place at opening tournament
The Mundelein Thunder 18U team opened its season with a bang by taking second place at the Homestead Restaurant Classic tournament in Kankakee the weekend of June 6 and 7. In taking the B Championship and second overall, the Thunder 18s also earned a bid to the NSA B World Series.
Most remarkable was the 18U team's performance Sunday, where they played five games back-to-back, beginning at 8:00 AM, after falling into the loser's bracket in their second game of championship play. The team continued to battle without a break until reaching the championship game, where they finally fell 4-1.
