To:                   Mukilteo Little League parents and other community members
From:               Mukilteo Little League
Subject:            2009-2010 Board of Directors Election Meeting

Dear Mukilteo-Area Community Member,

Mukilteo Little League is having a Board meeting on Wednesday, September 30, 2009 to elect new officers/board members for the coming Little League baseball/softball season.  We are requesting attendance by any adults who have ever had an interest in getting involved as a board member or could help out in any way this coming baseball/softball season.

The meeting will be held at Mukilteo City Hall (11930 Cyrus Way, Mukilteo) at 7:00 PM on 9/30/2009.

Elected board positions include the following, among others:  President, Executive VP, Secretary, Treasurer, Vice Presidents and Player Agents for each division (Majors/Minors/Farm, T-ball/Rookie, Juniors/Seniors/Bigs, Softball), Umpire-In-Chief, Sponsorship Coordinator, Field Maintenance, Equipment, and Uniforms.

Mukilteo Little League has been serving the Mukilteo community since 1957.  For 13 years we operated as two separate leagues, North and South, then one year ago we re-combined to operate as a single organization.  This year we had a successful and fun season of baseball and softball for around 700 boys and girls, ages 5 to 18, who live anywhere within the Mukilteo School District boundaries.

Dave Pitts, MLL Secretary
Curt Thornburg, MLL President

ALL-STAR MANAGERS LETTER OF INTENT DUE

Managers and Coaches,
If you are interested in MANAGING an all-star team this year, please email me back no later than this Friday, May 1st.  All-star managers are selected by the all-star committee (made up of the coaching committee and the player agents).  In the past, our league has had a 9/10-year-old team, an 11-year-old team and a 12-year-old team.  Please include which age you'd like to manage in your reply.
Once the all-star manager has been chosen, that manager will then select his assistant coach(es).  So......only submit a letter of intent if you want to MANAGE an all-star team.  You will need to fully commit to the entire all-star season (June 15-usually early/mid July....depending on how far your team goes in the tournament).  Many all-star teams practice every day from June 15 to the end of the month in preparation of the tournament.
Remember to reply back BEFORE this Friday to be considered for an all-star manager position.  Let me know if you have any questions!
Thanks,
Jamie Wright

Welcome to The NEW Mukilteo Little League!

Mukilteo North Little League and South Mukilteo Little League have officially merged boards. Both Boards have worked hard the past couple of years preparing for this merge and are happy to move forward with a New IMPROVED Little League for our community. The transition will be pretty much seamless to the players and families. The League structures will remain essentially the same with the biggest change being the renaming of the divisions for baseball to Mukilteo American and Mukilteo National. Each division will have 4 Majors teams for the 2009 season and will also carry several Minors level teams.

Please continue to visit this web site for more information as well as a Frequently Asked Questions page which will (hopefully) answer all your questions.

Banner Advertising - Affordable for any sized business!!!

A new feature for MukilteoLittleLeague.com is the addition of LOCAL Banner Advertisements at the top of this site. As many of you know, this web site caters to several hundred players, their families, friends and relatives as well as others in and around the baseball community here in District 1. Our web sites last year had well over 10,000 unique visitors.

Purchasing a Banner Ad from Mukilteo Little League is a tax deductible donation and shows you support Youth Sports and Little League in your Community. It is also a great way to market your product to a target audience of Mukilteo, Edmonds and South Everett families. Please contact our Web Administrator for more information by emailing mukilteobaseball@aol.com.
