Moreland Little League Committees
The following committees are filled by volunteer Board Members, Officers and Regular Members.
Baseball Operations Committee
The purpose of this Committee is to create, organize and supervise baseball activities including team tryout and formation, recommendations for Manager and Coach appointments, definition of Local Rules, baseball practice, game, and playoff schedules, participation in and/or hosting of District 44 post-season tournaments.

Code of Conduct Committee
The purpose of this Committee is to monitor and enforce player, manager, coach, umpire, and parent behavior within the rules and regulations of Little League® and our Local League.
2010 season committee members: Mark Phillips (Chair), Chris Hugill, Mike Martin, Angela Quinn, Ed Quinones, Dave Roberson, Michele Sutton and Bruce Wolk.
Finance and Business Committee
The purpose of this Committee is to oversee the creation of the annual Financial Budget and to manage the business affairs of the Local League to deliver the funds and supplies for a successful season within the constraints of the budget. This Committee will also make recommendations with respect to the level of cash reserves needed to be maintained throughout the year.

Auditing Committee
The purpose of this Committee is to review and inspect the Local League’s books and records during the season, and to work with an independent third party, such as a Certified Public Accountant, to provide a statement of its findings to the annual financial statements of the President and Treasurer prior to the Annual General Membership Meeting.

Election Committee
The purpose of this Committee is to raise awareness about the need for Board member volunteers and to investigate and consider eligible candidates. The Committee will prepare and submit a slate of candidates for the Board of Directors at the Annual General Membership Meeting, or any other Special Meeting of the General Membership in which a vote is on the agenda. This Committee will also be responsible for collecting, qualifying and counting all ballots and pronouncing the outcome of any Board vote, or other General Membership vote.

Registration and Information Committee
The purpose of this Committee is to register the players for the upcoming season, ensure parental volunteer support, and create and maintain the communications infrastructure for the season.

Building, Grounds and Property Committee
The purpose of this Committee is to maintain the integrity of the Building, Grounds and Property of the Local league, including the care and maintenance of the playing fields. The Committee will provide leadership with respect to repair and improvement recommendations, and supervise the performance of all approved projects.

Fundraising Committee
The purpose of this Committee is to develop creative and fun events used to raise funds for the Moreland Little League from both our membership and the local community. This Committee will be tasked with developing, administrating and managing all league fundraising events.
2010 season committee members: Kelly Phillips (Chair), Stacy Amicarelli, Lynda Biner, Jodi Hugill, Pam Mita, Michele Sutton, Cheryl Sweeney and Craig Thomas.
Sponsorship Committee
The purpose of this Committee is to raise awareness about the sponsorship opportunities within the Moreland Little League community and to seek out and procure Sponsors (via the sale of such things as Outfield fence banners, Bleacher banners, MorelandTV spots, etc.).

MorelandTV Committee
The purpose of this Committee is to maintain the integrity of the MorelandTV initiative and to further its cause by promoting the creation of appropriate content and sponsorships.
