2009 Awards Picnic
The end of the year awards picnic will be held this Saturday July 18th from 12:00 - 3:00 pm at Dehoyas Park.
All unifrom pants must be returned and all outstanding fees owed to the league must be paid in order to recieve trophies.

Coaches Clinic
MONTICELLO-Baseball coaches and parents of little league baseball
players are invited to attend a free coaching clinic at Monticello High
School on Thursday, April 2nd at 7:30PM
The clinic, which will be led by Monticello High School baseball coach,
Mike Marra will offer tips on how to teach kids how to hit, pitch and
field. Marra will also discuss practice design, ideas for
age-appropriate drills and how to diagnose problems in players.
The goal is to provide continuity in coaching styles and to assist
students as they progress in skill from Little League through high
school.
"I really love meeting the involved parents from the community,"
Monticello baseball coach Mike Marra said. "This clinic gives our
coaches a chance to show how passionate they are about baseball."
"This clinic is unique because it has several stations that are
interactive," "Feeder program coaches can participate in drills as they
are being demonstrated."
Registration is not required. Coaches and parents from all Little
Leagues in Sullivan County are welcome to attend. For more information

Final 2009 Registration Rescheduled
The final registration for the 2009 season has been rescheduled to Saturday January 17, 2009 from 10AM to 1PM at the middle school cafeteria. See this flier for more info.

1/10/09 Registration Cancelled
Monticello School district is closing all buildings on 1/10/09 due to the expected snowstorm. Therefore we have to cancel our registration. We are in the process of scheduling a new date and will post it when available.

Memorabilia sought for Monticello High School baseball history display
The Monticello High School Athletics Department is actively seeking donations of interesting, unusual and/or special items and artifacts to document and archive the rich history of baseball in Monticello Schools.
Items such as publications, photographs, newspaper articles, scorebooks, pennants, buttons, etc., are being sought as part of the quest to preserve this historical legacy.
“We want to honor the past and inspire the future,” said Monticello Panthers baseball coach, Mike Marra. “We’d like to display many of the artifacts and honor our alumni at the John Spear Memorial Baseball Tournament. We've evolved from our humble beginnings and our history continues to unfold - let's not lose the memories."

American Legion Baseball-Sullivan County
Coach Mike Marra from the SCCC Generals is putting together a competitive travel baseball team for Sullivan County players born on or after January 1, 1991.
