Montgomery Twisters: 2010 Divisions
Each year, the 10u Travel team will play approximately 20-30 games during the season. This includes 4 to 6 tournaments and games in the Penn Twilight League. Classification of 'A' or 'B' will be made by the coaches after tryouts have concluded. This team will participate in ASA, PONY and NSA tournaments/games.
To be eligible to play for this Twisters team you must be:
~ A girl, 10 years old or younger as of January 1, 2010
~ Attend travel softball tryouts
Not all players that attend tryouts will be chosen for the Travel team. Coaches will select players based on an objective evaluation of the players' skills demonstrated at tryouts.
To cover the cost of the team, a Travel Fee is charged to participate on the Travel team. The amount of the Travel fee will be based on the projected financial needs of the team to achieve team goals for the season.
12u Travel Softball
Each year, the 12u Travel team will play approximately 40 games during the season. This includes 6 to 8 tournaments and games in the Penn Twilight League. Classification of 'A' or 'B' will be made by the coaches after tryouts have concluded. This team will participate in ASA, PONY and NSA tournaments/games.
To be eligible to play for this Twisters team you must be:
~ A girl, 12 years old or younger as of January 1, 2010
~ Attend travel softball tryouts

~ A girl, 14 years old or younger as of January 1, 2010

~ A girl, 16 years old or younger as of January 1, 2010

18u Travel Softball
Each year, the 18u Travel team will play approximately 60 games during the season. This includes 7 or 8 tournaments and games in the Penn Twilight League. Classification of 'Gold', 'A' or 'B' will be made by the coaches after tryouts have concluded. This team will participate in college showcases, ASA, PONY and NSA tournaments/games.
To be eligible to play for this Twisters team you must be:
~ A girl, 18 years old or younger as of January 1, 2010
~ Attend travel softball tryouts
