U10 Mustangs
U10 Mustangs!

The U-10 Rebel Mustangs had a fantastic weekend with two more wins. The girls traveled to Janesville on Sat. Sept 26 and defeated the Janesville Flash with a score of 4-2. Goalies for the game were Aspen Bader with 4 saves and Emily Benzschawel with 2 saves. Ally Einbeck earned the first goal of the game followed by a janesville goal which ended the first half 1-1. Attempts on goal were made by Kennedy Ludwig, Olivia Werth, Ally, and Heather Burkhalter. The second half Heather scored a goal followed by a goal by Olivia assisted by Kennedy. Janesville scored again but then Heather scored again  for the rebels to seal the win for the Mustangs. Attempts the second half were made by Ally, Olivia and Heather.  Emily, Kennedy, Phebe Ellsworth and Alexa Bader contributed towards the win with excellent defense.  

On Sunday Sept. 27th the Mustangs took on the Stoughton Stampede and came away with a 5-1 victory. Aspen earned 3 saves as goalie the first half. Many attempts on goal were made by Emily, Brynn Ritchards, Ally, Olivia and Heather.  The mustangs scored 3 unanswered goals the first half  Two by Heather Burkhalter and one by Emily Benzschawel assisted by Ally Einbeck.  Olivia took over goalkeeper duties the second half and earned 3 saves with great defensive help by Kennedy, Emily, Phebe and Kirsten Kundert. Attempts on goal were made by Brynn, Heather, Kennedy and Ally. Brynn scored a goal assisted by Heather  followed by the goal by Stoughton.  Ally scored the mustangs 5th goal  assisted by Kirsten  to bring the game to a close.

The U-10 Girls Rebel Mustangs earned another win on Sat. Oct. 3rd defeating Oregon 7-1 at the Moose Field in Monroe. Strong offense was shown by Ally Einbeck, Emily Benzschawel, Olivia Werth, Heather Burkhalter, and Alexa Bader. Excellent defense by Kennedy Ludwig, Phebe Ellsworth, and Kirsten Kundert kept the play mostly on the Rebels side of the field. Aspen Bader was goal keeper for the entire game and earned 1 save the first half and 2 saves the second half. Monroe scored 3 goals in the first half, the first two by Emily assisted by Olivia, and the third by Ally. The second half Emily scored again followed by a goal by Olivia. Oregon scored their goal to bring the score to 5-1. The Rebels kept up the pressure with a goal by Kennedy, assisted by Heather, and the final goal by Olivia.  During the game other attempts on goal were made by Ally, Olivia, Heather, Kennedy and Kirsten.  The Rebel Mustangs are now 4-1 with 3 games left to go in the fall season.  
The U-10 Rebel Mustangs wrapped up their fall season this weekend with two outstanding wins. On Sat.  Oct-17 the girls took on Janesville and earned a 4-1 win with two goals by Ally Einbeck one assisted by Emily Benzshawel, one by Emily and one by Olivia Werth. Aspen Bader was goal keeper for the entire game and earned 4 saves the first half and 3 saves the second half. Goal attempts were made by Ally, Olivia and Emily. Excellent defense by Heather Burkhalter and Kennedy Ludwig kept the Janesville team at only one goal.
On Sunday Oct-18 the Mustangs traveled to Oregon and defeated the Oregon fireballs 8-3. Emily Benzshawel and Olivia Werth were goalies for the game. Earning goals for monroe were Olivia (2), Brynn Ritschards (4), Emily, and the last goal by Heather Burkhalter at the whistle. The team celebrated by going out to lunch. Thank you to our awesome coaches this season- Troy and Janel Bader.
