Flyers Off to a Fast Start
The Monroe Flyers began their inaugural season this past Labor Day weekend by competing in the Kevin Barmak Memorial Tournament in Enfield, CT.
The Flyers managed to sweep all four opponents without giving up a single goal. Needless to say, all team members played well and contributed to the victories.
Flyers Defense Dominates in New Jersey!
The Monroe Flyers won the Parsippany Pride Invitational Tournament this past Columbus Day weekend. The defense was outstanding, shuting out all four New Jersey teams they faced.
Winning the championship took a total team effort and all Flyer players should be proud of the way they played.

Flyers Dominate in Inaugural Season
The Monroe Flyers completed their inaugural season going undefeated!
The Flyers complied a 17-0-1 record while outscoring their opponents 99-4 and earning 16 shutouts.
The Flyers also managed to win both the Kevin Barmak Invitational Tournament in Enfield, CT and the Parsippany Pride Invitational Tournament in Parsippany, NJ. In both tournaments the Flyers went 4-0 without giving up a single goal.
Flyers Take First Place Indoors
The Flyers continued their winning ways indoors capturing first place in session one at United Indoor Soccer. The Flyers compiled a record of 5-0.
Flyers take first place in U10 division
The Monroe Flyers won the U10 division at United Indoor Soccer. Even though the Flyers were playing up in an older division they still managed to take the top spot with a record of 6-1.
Flyers Capture Top Spot in Spring Classic
The Monroe Flyers captured first place in Colchester Spring Soccer Classic, A bracket. The pre season tournament took place over the weekend of April 21st & 22nd. The Flyers faced teams from Wallingford, Brookfield, Colchester and Fairfield.

Westfield Cup
The Monroe Flyers were in Westfield, NJ over the Memorial Day weekend competing in the Westfield Cup. Even though it rained most of the weekend and the fields were muddy, they managed to get four games in between the showers. The Flyers compiled a record of 2-1-1. The Flyers faced some very tough competition throughout the tournament. They managed to win against the Westfield Raptors and the Scotch Plains-Fanwood Highlanders. They ended up in a tie against the Council Rock, PA Dynamo and lost to the Madison Tidal Wave, a select team from Morris County NJ.
Scott McBride Joins the Flyers Staff
Scott McBride will be joining the Monroe Flyers staff as our new Trainer. Scott is a very talented and well-respected coach. In addition Scott has a great deal of experience too. Some of his accomplishments include:

We are glad to have Scott on board and are looking forward to the positive impact he can bring to the team.
Flyers Take 1st Place in Glastonbury Spring Warm-Up Tourney
The Monroe Flyers took first place in the Glastonbury Spring Warm-Up Tournament. They did so by going undefeated in their four games. The Flyers defense dominated only allowing 1 goal throughout the four matches. The Flyers in turn exploded with 19 goals over the four games. They beat Newtown 3-1, Glastonbury 9-0, Trumbull 3-0 and Brookfield 4-0. This year's tournament took place on April 26th and 27th. Congratulations to all the Flyers!
Flyers Win 2003 "Clash of the Cleats" Tournament
The Monroe Flyers were victorious on the "Clash of the Cleats" Tournament. The Tournament was held in Montclair, NJ over the Memorial Day weekend. Even though it was a cool and rainy weekend the Flyers Beat the Staten Island Azzurri 2-0, tied the Bergen Blackhawks 0-0 and beat the host Montclair Blast 3-0 in the preliminary rounds. They then went on to play Staten Island again in the championship game, this time winning by a score of 5-1.

Flyers Connecticut Cup Champions
The Monroe Flyers took the 2003 Spring U11 Boys Connecticut Cup. The Flyers beat Wilton, Enfield, Southbury, Farmington, Trumbull and Suffield to take the Cup. They are the first boys team from Monroe to ever win the State Championship.

Flyers to Cpmpete in SPIN Tournament over Labor Day Weekend
The Monroe Flyers have been acepted to compete in the Naugatuck Savings Bank's 18th Annual Sao Paio Invitational Soccer Tournament. The tournament is to be held over the Labor Day weekend. This will be the Flyers first trip to the SPIN Tournament.
Flyers Look to Defend SW District Championship
The Monroe Flyers will look to defend as the current Southwest District U12 Champions for the Spring 2004 seaon.
They will be looking for their fourth consecutive district title.
Flyers Win Colchester Spring Classic
The Monroe Flyers won the 2004 Colchester Spring Soccer Classic with a record of 5-0.
In the preliminary rounds the Flyers beat teams from Lyme - Old Lyme, Coventry, RI and Ridgefield.
In the semi final they faced off against Griswold. They then played Fairfield in the championship match
The Flyers managed to out score their opponents by a margin of 23-1.
Congratulations to the Flyers on a great start to the spring season.
Flyers Win Columbia-Windham Tournament
The Monroe Flyers took first place the 2005 Columbia-Windham Nassiffs Columbus Day Soccer Tournament.
Despite the wet weather the Flyers took the tops honors in the boys U14 Premier division.
