Flyers Return to Parsippany Pride Columbus Day Tournament
The Monroe Flyers are looking forward to returning to the Parsippany Pride Tournament which is held over Columbus Day weekend. This will be the Flyers third trip to the New Jersey classic. The Parsippany Pride is one of the larger tournaments in Northeast and always attracts some of the top teams in the area. This year's tournament will host close to 300 teams from 5 states andwill be held on October 9th & 10th.

Flyers take 1st at Ukrainian Nationals Invitational Tournament
The Flyers won the Ukrainian Nationals Invitational Tournament over Memorial Day weekend. They survived the heat of the weekend going undefeated and only allowed one goal against. Congratulations to all of the Flyers!

New Addition to the Flyers!
The Flyers are very pleased to announce the addition of Coach Sam Chamarkhi to the Flyer's family.
Sam played as a junior for WAC Casablanca, Casablanca University, Morocco and Elite level in England.
Sam was most recently a senior coach for Coerver Connecticut.
Flyers Take 1st in Randolph "Blast" Labor Day Tournament
The Flyers started off the season strong by taking first place in the 2004 Randolph "Blast" Labor Day Tournament in Randolph, New Jersey.
The Flyers went 4-0, winning all four games by shutout. They defeated teams from Denville, Parsippany and Hanover.
Congratulations to all of the Flyers on a strong performance this weekend.
The Monroe Flyers are the Fall 2002 District Champions. In the regular season the Flyers were unbeaten with a record of 8-0-1 in the top U11 boys division of the Southwest District of the Connecticut Junior Soccer Association.
The Flyers then went on to victory in the playoffs with convincing wins over Ridgefield in the semi finals by a score of 5-1 and Fairfield in the championship game 6-2. That brought the Flyers unbeaten league record to 10-0-1.
The success is contributed to an entire team effort will all players having a significant impact. Congratulations to all the Flyers on a great season.
Flyers Headed Back to Parsippany Pride Tournament
UNFORTUNITLY THIS YEARS TOURNAMENT WAS CANCELLED DUE TO HEAVY RAIN.
The Monroe Flyers are looking forward to returning to the Parsippany Pride Tournament which is held over Columbus Day weekend. This will be the Flyers second trip to the New Jersey classic, they last participated in the tournament in the fall of 2000.
The Parsippany Pride is one of the larger tournaments in Northeast and always attracts some of the top teams in the area. This year's tournament will be held on October 12th & 13th.
Flyers Capture First in Kevin Barmack Memorial Tournament
The Monroe Flyers went undefeated wining all four games to capture first place in the Kevin Barmack Memorial Tournament. The Flyers had victories against NECONN, Colchester, Granby and the always tough Brookfield squad.
The tournament is sponsored by the Enfield Soccer Club and is held in Enfield, CT over Labor Day weekend. This was the second time time the Flyers have competed in the Kevin Barmack Memorial Tournament. In the Fall of 2000 the Flyers also went on to a 4-0 record.
Congratulations to all of the Flyers for contributing to the victories.
Boys Will Be Boys!
Flyers to Compete in 20th Annual Newtown Kickoff Tournament
The Monroe Flyers are scheduled to compete in the 20th annual Newtown Kickoff Tournament held over Memorial Day weekend.
The Flyers are looking forward to their first time competing in the Newtown Kickoff Tournament. They will be playing in the boys U11 Gold division. The Flyers will face four tough opponents; Naugatuck Knights, Old Greenwich Thunder, Simsbury Bandits and the Nashua Strikers.
Flyers Compete in Glastonbury
The Monroe Flyers had a strong showing playing in their first full field tournament at the Glastonbury Spring Warm Up Tournament over the April 27th and 28 weekend. The Flyers lost a close battle in their opening game to the Avon Shock by a score of 3-2. In second game Saturday the Flyers faced the hometown Glastonbury Wolves. The Flyers had seven different players score in a 9-1 victory.
Sundays weather brought some much-needed rain and a lot of it. The Flyers still managed to play their first game against the Londonderry All-Stars from New Hampshire. The Flyers played and excellent game in some poor weather conditions and they went on to beat Londonderry by a score of 4-0. Unfortunately the poor weather prevented the Flyers from playing their last game which was scheduled against the Farmington Fire.
The Flyers 2-1 record put them in second place in their U11 division.
Flyers Go Unbeaten in VOGT Columbus Day Tournament
The Flyers played some tough competition in the VOGT Columbus Day Tournament held in Philadelphia. The Flyers beat two Philadelphia area clubs, the Holy Terrors and the Lighthouse Spurs. They tied the tough home club VOGT Xplosion and also tied the talented and eventual champion Council Rock Dynamo from Bucks County, PA. The Flyers record of 2-0-2 placed them as runner-up.
Flyers Compete in Farmington Savings Bank Tournament
The Monroe Flyers kicked off their U10 season competing in the Farmington Savings Bank Labor Day Tournament. The tournament offered a variety of competitive teams from across the state. The Flyers beat teams from Brookfield, Newtown and Glastonbury while tying a tough home team from Farmington. The Flyers managed to outscore their opponents 19-2. This two-day tournament was held on September 1st and 2nd.
