 MVWC wrestlers have Good Results at Canada Cup 2008 in Guelph.  SEE NEWS 

The team going to Puerto Rico is being selected, many wrestlers have already been contacted.  The Puerto Rico trip will be October 9-13, 2008. 

The State Fair challange is set for August 23-24.  All wrestlers competing in Puerto Rico as well as some others will be invited to participate.  Call Bob Rose if interested.

MVWC wrestlers Take 50% of the scholastc postions for the Empire State Games. Empire State Games begin on Wednesday, with Freestyle on Thursday -Friday and Greco on Friay-Saturday. SEE NEWS

* During the Club's 25 years, several thousand wrestlers have participated.
* Many have achieved success as High School Champions,in Folkstyle,Freestyle and Greco. Many members have continued as Collegiate wresters, including Junior College, Division I, II, and III All Americans, as well as a Member of the 1996 Olympic team.
* Hundreds of Central New York wrestlers have had the opportunity to travel around the world representing the Club,which is recognized as the most active club, internationaly in the United States. The Club has traveled and wrestled in Argentina, Germany, Hungary, Austria, Puerto Rico, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Estonia, Netherlands, Iceland, Turkey, China, and has the strongest relationship with Canada of any USA Club.

Mohawk Valley International Wrestling Festival results for 2005-2008,are listed under MVWC International. Over 300 wrestlers competed on Saturday in Freestyle, with another 120 in Greco on Sunday, in  2008.
