ALL STAR FAQ's:

- All Star teams for Little League International (not just Mission Bay) are organized by age groups (NOT by divisions).

- MB will have one 9-10 year old team, and one 11-12 year old team.    Players age 10 that played in Majors are eligible for the 9-10 yr old All Star team.

- Little Stars (7-8 yr old age bracket): MB will host a tournament of friendly games the weekend of 6/18-6/21.  Players age 8 that played in Minors are eligible for the 7-8 yr old Little Stars team.

- All Star Paperwork: All players (age 9 and up), MUST provide proof of age and residence in order to be considered eligible for All Stars.

- All Star Selection Process (11-12's):  The players will vote for the players to be on the All Star team ... the top 6 vote getters are in.  The major division team managers will select the remaining 6 players.

- All Star Selection Process (9-10's):  Team managers will meet to collaborate on the selection of the players, and the Board will review and approve the selection.

- All Star Selection Process (7-8's aka Little Stars): A try out will be held Sunday June 7, at McEvoy from 11am - 1pm.  ALL players wishing to be considered MUST attend the tryout!!!  Any absences need to be cleared in advance with the player agent, Tim Kasper.

FAN / PARENT BEHAVIOR:  It's everyone's job to create a positive atmosphere for our kids.  As such, please be supportive of all kids and umpires (e.g., no heckling umpires and players).  Many fan issues tend to arise with the 'strike zone' being called by the umpire.  The strike zone in Little League can run between the knees and shoulders, and can be one or two baseball widths wider than the plate to encourage the kids to swing the bats.  As long as the umpire is calling the zone fairly / consistently for both teams, the kids need to make the adjustment to the zone being called.  Umpires are human too, so occasionally mistakes are made.

Reminder: no alcoholic bevarages or smoking allowed.
