Minnetonka Dance Team: Where Are They Now?

The MHS Dance Teams have been an integral part of many student's co-curricular experience with the Skippers.  The discipline, artistry, commitment, and time management needed to be a member of the team is an experience dancers will carry with them forever.  Here's a look at some of our alumni and where they are now:

Tora Crist - past captiain Tora graduated MHS in 2008 and attends Iowa State University.  Tora is a member of the Cyclones dance team.

Mary Keogh - past captain Mary graduated MHS in 2007, attends the University of Wisconsin at Madison, and is a member of their nationally ranked dance team.   The Badgers Dance Team won the bronze medal at last year's national competition, taking third behind the U of M and Tennessee. Mary is studying biomedical engineering.  www.uwbadgers.com/traditions/dance/uw_dance_team_92.html

Danielle Olson - Dani graduated MHS in 2007, attends St. Thomas, and is a member of the St. Thomas Dance Team.  The Tommies won the UDA College Dance Team national championship for 2008. UST Dance team www.stthomas.edu/campuslife/mascot/danceteam/

Jordan Rossman - past captain Jordan graduated MHS in 2007, attends the University for Wisconsin at Madison, and is a member of their dance team.  The Badgers Dance Team won the bronze medal at last year's national competition, taking third behind the U of M and Tennessee.   Jordan is studying pre-law. Lauren Anderson - Lauren graduated MHS in 2006, attends the University of Minnesota-Duluth, and is a member of their dance team.  UMD dance team http://www.eteamz.com/umddanceteam/

Bianca Lettieri - past captain Bianca graduated MHS in 2006.  Bianca attends the U of Minnesota, danced on their Premier Club team, and is currently a member of the pro-basketball Timberwolves Dance Team. www.nba.com/timberwolves/dance_team/

Kat Kiefer - past captain Kat graduated MHS in 2005 and attended Iowa State University where she served as captain of the Cyclones dance team.

Katie Wallin - past captain Katie graduated MHS in 2001, earned a degree in International Business and Spanish from the University of St. Thomas, works on the strategic sales team for Ikon Office Solutions, and is the head coach of the MDT Competition Team junior varsity squad.  She has been coaching for eight years.
