Minnetonka Dance Team: Facts and FAQs

The Performance Dance Team season runs from August 17 to October 20th. The team performs at all home, varsity football games at MHS Stadium.  We also perform and 3-4 boys and girls home, varsity soccer games at MHS Stadium.

Tryouts are held each year in the spring, before the school year ends. Tryouts for the 2009 team were held May 28-30 and have not been scheduled for the 2010 fall team.

 Each year we take about 40 dancers- a big team!

 Practices are held every Tuesday/Thursday, 4-7 pm.

*There is also a Competition Dance Team- which is the competitve dance season running from October-February. This season involves varsity and JV teams, dancing jazz and high kick. Competition Dance tryouts are also held in the spring- these are separate tryouts from Performance Dance tryouts.
