Every athlete planning on playing college baseball, must register and complete all sections.

NCAA Division I 16 Core-Course Sheet for Eligibility

The attachment will allow the athlete/parent to record the 16 core course grades and track his GPA for those core courses. By doing this, the athlete will understand what score he must recieve on the SAT/ACT to be eligible for Division I athletics.

Credit Section - you recieve 1 credit per core course taken / (16 total core courses)

Grade Section - A / B / C / D

Quality Points Section - The grades you earn determine how many quality points you recieve for that one core course. Honors Courses earn higher quality points than regular courses. See the scale below:

Non-Honor Course Points
A = 4
B = 3
C = 2
D = 1

Honors Course Points
A = 5
B = 4
C = 3
D = 2

Formula: Total Quality Points Divided by Total Credits = Core GPA
